MY STORY
Based in Hawarden, Flintshire I work from home but also offer a mobile service to allow you to experience reflexology from the comfort of your home. Â
Trained at the Gaia School of Natural Health, I completed the highest qualification, a Centralia Reflexology Mastership Level 5; and trained to work in areas of Fertility, Maternity, Palliative and Cancer Care.Â
I am a member of Professional Reflexology which only grants membership to Reflexologists who have completed a certain high level of training along with full insurance to work.
WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a holistic therapy focusing on the person as a whole. There are over 7000 nerve endings in the feet and through the reflex points these are stimulated through techniques used by the Reflexologist. It is thought that through this process change and toxin elimination can be stimulated, resulting in an improvement in overall heath whilst also focusing on specific conditions if required.
During a Reflexology session it is the body's own parasympathetic nervous system which is activated through deep relaxation. This process allows the body to bring about balance and promote normal function as the body is able to work in an un-stressed state.
